Cohen Seglias Relocates Main Office To United Plaza

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, December 5, 2005 - Cohen, Seglias, Pallas, Greenhall & Furman, P.C., one of Pennsylvania 100 largest law firms, is pleased to announce the relocation of its Philadelphia Office to the award winning United Plaza Building, 30 South 17 th Street in Philadelphia, as of December 5, 2005. The firm will occupy 31,609 square feet of the entire 19 th floor, nearly doubling its former space at 1515 Market Street.

Managing Partner, John A. Greenhall, said, “We are all very excited about moving yet staying in Philadelphia. The city is beautiful, energetic and a great place to have our main office. In addition, the present construction boom puts us at the heart of the City’s vibrant construction activity.

“While we are known throughout the mid-Atlantic region for our construction law services, the firm represents clients nationally as well as regionally. Over the past ten years, our firm has quadrupled in size, and we plan to continue expanding. Our state of the art office facilities at United Plaza will accommodate our plans for the future,” Mr. Greenhall also said.

Cohen Seglias is a leading firm in construction law and provides a full range of construction law services. In addition, the firm’s Labor and Employment Group counsels management in labor and employment relations. Its Business Practice Group offers services in real estate, commercial transactions, tax and estates and commercial litigation, along with specialties in elder law, special needs and guardianships.

The new space will include a VoIP telephone system, wireless internet ports and video conferencing. United Plaza’s large floor plate and virtually column free interior has allowed the firm to expand their space yet remain contiguous on one floor. In addition to room for 40 plus lawyers, there is an expanded Copy Center and a Conference Center, which includes seven conference rooms.

The 19 th floor offers spectacular views of the city with glass windows that run from floor to ceiling. In addition, Cohen Seglias has added some unique features to its office design. The firm has included a lounge with pool table, club chairs and other amenities for breaks during long mediations or use for employee camaraderie. In one area, the firm will have an “art gallery” of its employees’ children’s artwork, all uniformly framed and titled. The kitchen contains bistro style seating.

The successful firm boasts accolades for many of its partners. Awards include Law & Politics’ “Super Lawyer” award for New Jersey and Pennsylvania, (five of the partners are multiple recipients); Pennsylvania Super Lawyer Rising Stars (4 attorneys for 2005); the Outstanding Lawyers of America award; a South Jersey Top Attorney in Construction Law award from SJ

Magazine and a Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award. Many of the partners have also earned Martindale-Hubbell’s highest rating.

The most prestigious awards have been earned on behalf of their clients, of course, which explains why the firm currently serves almost 400 area contractors throughout the Northeastern United States. In addition to its Philadelphia office, Cohen Seglias maintains locations in Pittsburgh, PA, Harrisburg, PA, Wilmington, DE and Haddon Heights, NJ.

The transaction was completed by IPC US REIT, owners and managers of U.S. commercial properties, along with leasing partner, [Dean Geis, Tom Hummel and Tom Bond of ] NAI Geis Realty Group, Inc., Cohen, Seglias, Pallas, Greenhall & Furman, P.C. was represented by Stephen F.
