GCA Moves HQ Down the Street
Building Facility Services Company GCA
Leases 23,103-SF in 300 Four Falls Corp.
Center
GCA Services Group will relocate its headquarters
in early February from 100 Four Falls Corporate
Center to the sixth floor of nearby 300
Four Falls Corporate Center where the building
facility services company will take 23,103
square feet.
The 300,000-square-foot structure, which
was completed in August 2003, was developed
by a joint venture of Acorn Development
and Berwind Property Group and includes
seven stories of office space above a six-story
parking garage.
GCA, which was founded by Graeme A. Crothall,
is a leading provider of janitorial and
facilities management services. Crothall
has successfully grown and sold three businesses
in the facilities services industry since
1960. His most recent company, Crothall
Services Group, a national provider of facilities
management services to hospitals, with revenues
in excess of $450 million, was acquired
by Compass Group plc in 2002.
Backed by several venture capital firms,
GCA has grown through a number of acquisitions
to operate in 36 states and Puerto Rico.
The firm claims to clean 320 million square
feet per day.
David Morris of NAI Geis represented the tenant. Neil
Gallagher of GVA Smith Mack represented
the landlord, Berwind Property Group.
