GCA Moves HQ Down the Street

Building Facility Services Company GCA Leases 23,103-SF in 300 Four Falls Corp. Center

GCA Services Group will relocate its headquarters in early February from 100 Four Falls Corporate Center to the sixth floor of nearby 300 Four Falls Corporate Center where the building facility services company will take 23,103 square feet.

The 300,000-square-foot structure, which was completed in August 2003, was developed by a joint venture of Acorn Development and Berwind Property Group and includes seven stories of office space above a six-story parking garage.

GCA, which was founded by Graeme A. Crothall, is a leading provider of janitorial and facilities management services. Crothall has successfully grown and sold three businesses in the facilities services industry since 1960. His most recent company, Crothall Services Group, a national provider of facilities management services to hospitals, with revenues in excess of $450 million, was acquired by Compass Group plc in 2002.

Backed by several venture capital firms, GCA has grown through a number of acquisitions to operate in 36 states and Puerto Rico. The firm claims to clean 320 million square feet per day.

David Morris of NAI Geis represented the tenant. Neil Gallagher of GVA Smith Mack represented the landlord, Berwind Property Group.
