Geis, Weisman & Robbins of NAI Geis Realty Group, rep landlord in lease negotiations
BPG Properties, Ltd. signs leases totaling 41,000 s/f at 2621 Van Buren Ave. in Lower Providence

Lower Providence, PA – BPG Properties, Ltd., (BPG), the real estate investment manager for Berwind Property Group, Ltd. and other major institutional investors, has executed two leases totaling approximately 41,000 s/f at 2621 Van Buren Ave., at 258,858 s/f office and warehouse facility. A lease for approximately 24,000 s/f of warehouse space was executed with Almac Clinical Services, Inc. (Almac). The second lease was executed with Paychex North America, Inc. (Paychex) fro approximately 17,300 s/f of office/flex space.

“We are pleased to welcome Almac and Paychex to 2621 Van Buren and look forward to a longstanding, mutually beneficial relationship with both companies,” said Robert Cook, VP of BPG who is responsible for the asset management and operations of the building. “The fact that these two high caliber companies chose to accommodate their office and warehouse requirements at 2621 Van Buren positively reflects not only on the location but also on the quality of the building.”

Larry Bergen of Colliers L & A represented Almac in the lease negotiations. Almac specialized in technology and service solutions that seek to advance human health by increasing the quality and efficiency of the clinical trial process. Founded in 1988, Almac’s clients include more than 18 of the world’s top 20 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. The company’s experience spans all phases of clinical trial development and numerous therapeutic areas.

Paychex is a recognized leader in the payroll and human resources industry, servicing approximately 543,000 business nationwide. The firm is headquartered in Rochester, New York and has more than 100 locations across the country. Paychex is also a 53,677 s/f/ tenant at BPG’s Sanpointe office complex located in South Coast Metro in Orange County, CA Paychex was represented by Mike Maroon of the Acclaim Group and John Morrissey of Jackson Cross Partners.

Dean Geis, Arthur Weisman and Stephen Robbins of NAI Geis Realty Group, Inc. represented the landlord in both lease negotiations and are the exclusive leasing agents for the property.

2621 Van Buren Ave. is primarily a one-story office and warehouse facility situated between Jefferson and Adams Ave. in the Valley Forge Corporate Center. The property is located within one mile of Rte. 422, five miles from Rte. 202, the PA Tpke. (I-276) and the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76).
